The lightness of every descent

At around 2,000 metres above sea level, in the municipality of Aldein/Aldino, between the Weißhorn and Schwarzhorn mountains, skiing meets the peace and quiet of the mountains. Across 7 kilometres of slopes, there is something for everyone – from easy beginner runs to a more challenging descent, all accompanied by plenty of sunshine and sweeping mountain views. For younger guests, Fantiland offers even more fun in the snow, with its own toboggan run and Fanti the elephant as its mascot.

There is plenty to discover beyond the ski slopes too: snowshoe trails lead through the snowy winter landscape, while just a few kilometres away the Lavazè Cross-Country Ski Centre offers more than 80 kilometres of groomed trails for both classic and skating techniques. The trail network connects directly to Passo Oclini and offers routes for beginners and experienced cross-country skiers alike.

In the heart of the Lagorai mountain range, Alpe Cermis offers skiing at altitudes ranging from around 860 to 2,250 metres, surrounded by impressive mountain scenery. Across a total of 25 kilometres of slopes – 10 km easy, 10 km intermediate and 5 km difficult – perfectly groomed pistes and varied runs for different skill levels invite you to enjoy winter turn by turn, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the Dolomites.

A special highlight is the famous Olimpia slope: at 7.5 kilometres long and with a vertical drop of 1,400 metres, it is considered one of the most beautiful runs in Trentino and can even be seen from the Parco della Pieve in Cavalese.

Three access points, one varied ski area: from Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo, Latemar Dolomites stretches from around 1,550 to 2,300 metres above sea level and offers a total of 48 kilometres of slopes. Easy, intermediate and more challenging runs offer plenty of variety for beginners and experienced skiers alike, always surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Dolomites.

The ski area also stands out for its quality: the ski resort test portal Skiresort.com has honoured Obereggen and Ski Center Latemar with 19 awards. Among other distinctions, Obereggen received an award for slope grooming and was named “Best ski resort with up to 60 km of slopes”.

With 18 lifts, the three resorts are directly connected and can easily be explored on skis. For even more fun in the snow, there are also snowparks, night skiing and tobogganing.

Two sides, plenty of ways to enjoy winter: at an altitude ranging from around 1,370 to 2,340 metres, Bellamonte Alpe Lusia offers a total of 26 kilometres of slopes – 10 km easy, 12 km intermediate and 4 km difficult. The wide, sunny and family-friendly slopes of Bellamonte are complemented by more challenging runs towards Moena, offering plenty of variety for beginners and experienced skiers alike.

Families will find plenty of space to enjoy a day in the snow together, with dedicated children’s areas, easy beginner slopes and fun activities that make those first turns on skis even more enjoyable. For even more variety, there is also a snowpark and a toboggan run.

Skiing at Passo Rolle, between Val di Fiemme and San Martino di Castrozza, means having the Pale di San Martino always in view. At an altitude ranging from around 1,900 to 2,250 metres, a total of 15 kilometres of slopes – 5 km easy, 8 km intermediate and 2 km difficult – wind their way through the spectacular winter landscape at the foot of Cimon della Pala. Varied runs offer something for beginners and experienced skiers alike, always accompanied by impressive views of the Dolomites.

Cross-country skiers can also enjoy around 2 kilometres of trails through the snow-covered landscape of the pass. A place to leave the hustle and bustle behind, enjoy the peace of the mountains and experience winter in the heart of the Dolomites.
