Kicking Off Summer with Style

When summer arrives in Auer, things get lively: the wine village in Südtirols Süden invites you to the Altmauerfest – a colourful mix of great food, music and good vibes.

The historic village centre with its winding alleys and charming houses sets the perfect scene. In courtyards and on public squares you’ll find sweet classics, hearty dishes and, of course, excellent wines from the South Tyrolean Wine Road. Live bands and DJs deliver the soundtrack – bringing together locals and visitors, young and old, families and groups of friends.

The three-day festival between late May and early June kicks off with the Opening Night and the traditional barrel tapping. The next day features the festive parade with the “Aperitivo Lungo”. The final day is all about families, with a Fun & Play Area and a lottery.

The Altmauerfest takes place only in odd-numbered years.
