Jazz in the Snow in the Valleys of Fiemme, Cembra and Fassa from March 6 to 15, 2026
Warm music amid snow-covered landscapes: this is the original idea at the heart of Dolomiti Ski Jazz. In Val di Fiemme, the most popular styles of Black music – jazz and funk – become part of the winter scenery of the Dolomites, with numerous concerts held at high altitude in key locations for winter sports.
At Dolomiti Ski Jazz, concerts are experienced with skis on your feet – directly on the slopes, as well as in theatres and venues throughout the valleys of Fiemme, Cembra and Fassa.
For the third year, a special event will take place in Anterivo/Altrei, set in the beautiful surroundings of the Ebnerrast larch forest.
Sunday, March 8 – 11:00 a.m. Jazz Matinee & from 10:00 a.m. Frühschoppen
with the Damiana Dellantonio Quartet (Italy)
Damiana Dellantonio – vocals
Federico Bosio – guitar
Giulio Corini – double bass
Enrico Tommasini – drums
Damiana Dellantonio was born in 1994 in Cavalese (Province of Trento). Coming from a musical family, she began performing in local settings at a very young age. Over the years, she formed stable ensembles with which she performs a repertoire ranging from jazz standards to cover versions of major classics of funk, acid jazz and soul.
She expanded her concert activity beyond her home valley, taking part in music festivals such as Dolomiti Ski Jazz, Valsugana Jazz Tour, The 1000 Streets’ Orchestra (Trieste), Grotte d’Estate (Castellana Grotte), ArtCity (Rome, Vittoriano), and Rovereto Jazz.
She chose to specialize in the jazz repertoire and studied at the F. Bonporti Conservatory in Trento with professors Barbara Raimondi and Elisabetta Antonini.
She earned a First-Level Academic Diploma in Jazz Singing, a program focused on in-depth vocal technique in popular music, improvisation, and arranging techniques. As a complementary instrument to her voice, she chose the piano.
Alongside her conservatory studies, Damiana further explored neo-soul and electronic repertoire, as well as the composition of original music and lyrics, at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome with teacher Serena Brancale. In addition to her academic training, this collaboration also developed into an artistic partnership.
The concert features a selection of international songs in a repertoire that spans genres and cultures, blending melodies and rhythms from different parts of the world. The talented singer from Val di Fiemme is accompanied by outstanding jazz musicians from the Brescia area.
