The Original South Tyrolean Christmas Market welcomes you in Bolzano's piazza Walther square

It was the winter of 1991, when the first Christmas market was held in South Tyrol. It took place at the heart of Bolzano, in piazza Walther square, where the Cathedral and the marble monument portraying minstrel Walther von der Vogelweide are ever-present landmarks during Bolzano's Christmas markets . Located in South Tyrol's capital, it's the oldest and largest Christmas market in the region.
