The engineering office was founded in 1978 in Neumarkt (Egna) by Franz Steiner and initially specialized in the design of energy-efficient heating and sanitary systems. Over the years, the company expanded its services to include fire protection, environmental projects, KlimaHaus-certified buildings, and energy-saving projects with tax incentives. Thanks to decades of experience and the use of advanced software, the company now provides detailed building analyses, customized engineering solutions, and professional energy consulting. At the beginning of 2023, after 45 years of leadership, Franz Steiner handed over the company to his long-time employee Andreas Bicciato, and the business was renamed Enntec. Franz Steiner continues to support the company as a consultant and in the preparation of fire safety inspections.
