Combine your visit with a hike around Aldein. The Bletterbach Gorge is particularly impressive. A hike to the Weißhorn or Schwarzhorn also offers beautiful views, while the nearby Göllersee is ideal for a more relaxed walk.

Kirnig - which in the dialect of the two Regglbergers means steadfast and down-to-earth - is what they had to be to get such a project off the ground. Now South Tyrol's noble mushrooms are growing at the "Hof im Thal" in the specially adapted barn under the watchful eyes of these two innovative young farmers.

KIRNIG Südtiroler Edelpilze is located at Thalweg 10 in Aldein. Coming from the A22 motorway, take the Bozen Nord/Eggental exit and continue through the Eggental valley towards Deutschnofen and then Aldein. Hof im Thal is located between Montan and Petersberg.

Public transport

From Bolzano, first take the train to Neumarkt-Tramin. From there, continue with bus line 142 towards Aldein and get off at Aldein, Kirche. Hof im Thal is located outside the village centre, so it is advisable to check the connection for the final part of the journey in advance.
