Val di Fiemme
- Public transport for visitors to the Olympic Winter Games
Travel is convenient by train. Rail services on the Brenner line will be increased for the duration of the Olympic Winter Games. There will be additional trains in the morning as well as extra services in the evening on the relevant competition days.
The transfer point to the buses is Auer/Ora railway station. From Auer station, in addition to the regular regional line 140 operated by südtirolmobil (Auer – Cavalese) and bus line B101 operated by Trentino Trasporti (Auer – Cavalese – Penia), an additional shuttle service provided by the organizer will be available. It is recommended to use the organizer’s shuttles at Auer station, as they take visitors directly to the Olympic venues in Tesero and Predazzo.
In South Tyrol, Trentino Trasporti’s B101 line also serves the stops Montan Dolomitenstraße, Aldeiner Brücke, Kaltenbrunn – Truden junction, and S. Lugano Church. Visitors to the cross-country skiing competitions who use line B101 can change at the stop Tesero, Piazza Battisti to the Cross-Country Skiing Shuttle, which takes them directly to the cross-country stadium. Visitors to the ski jumping competitions can get off near the former brewery (ex. birreria) north of Predazzo. From there, the ski jumping stadium can be reached in about a 10-minute walk.
