The Köfelefest with Rudy Giovannini took place for over two decades. On 14 and 15 June 2024, it was celebrated for the last time. This 21st edition marked the end of a musical era. The festival with Rudy Giovannini was dedicated to two loves of Laives: the music star Rudy Giovannini and the
church of San Pietro on the Köfele hill high above Laives.
Since his win at the Grand Prix of Folk Music 2006 Rudy Giovannini from Laives has become a star. The singer, who is also called the Caruso of the mountains, has since been touring Europe and enthralled music lovers with this gorgeous voice. His repertoire includes songs from musicals, folk and pop music.
