Old Grapevine in Margreid/Magrè

The oldest dated grapevine in Europe, dating back to 1601, is a unique natural monument and is located in Margreid. For over 400 years, it has produced flavorful grapes of the Roter Hörtling variety. To this day, the vine yields an average of around 80 kg of table grapes per year.
