Geoparc visitor centre
Aldein / Aldino
The Visitor Centre in Aldein/Aldino, located above the village, provides fascinating insights into the geological processes that led to the formation of the rocks in the Bletterbach Gorge. Exhibits include fossil finds such as dinosaur tracks, petrified fish, shells, and plants, illustrating life from millions of years ago. Visitors can also obtain information about various hiking options, guided tours, and special offers for families with children. Protective helmets for safe exploration of the gorge can be borrowed free of charge on-site. The Visitor Centre is open daily from May 1st to October 31st, from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
