Welcome to Bolzano. The provincial capital is at the intersection of two cultures which is reflected in its multi-faceted diversity. In Bolzano you can visit historic attractions, enjoy La Dolce Vita, strolling and shopping, enjoy every day being active or relaxing, and have fun at many events.

Bolzano is one of the largest wine-growing municipalities in South Tyrol and one of Europe’s most important wine producing towns. Lagrein and Santa Maddalena thrive particularly well here. Promenades and green areas in the city invite to walks and moments of peace and quiet. Three cable cars take you from the centre to lofty heights of over 1,000 m: keen lovers of sporting activity have plenty to smile about.

Under the arcades all kind of boutiques and shops invite you to browsing and shopping. On your foray through the city you should not forget to stop at the cultural and historic attractions. The cafés, bistros and bars serve the best Italian coffee, refreshing aperitifs and sweet or savoury snacks. If you’re hungry we recommend the many restaurants that treat you to Alpine and Mediterranean cuisine.
Bolzano is .... always worth a visit!
