Skiing day in Reinswald
Skiing day in Reinswald
Guaranteed snow and long hours of sunshine make Reinswald in the Sarntal Alps the perfect skiing region for lovers of activity. Whether skiing, snowboarding, winter hiking, snowshoe hiking or ski touring: In Val Sarentino there is plenty to smile about. Some pistes are demanding and the location of European Cup races. If you like variety, put on your cross country skis and explore the tracks in Val di Pennes - also at night - or enjoy a Haflinger drawn sleigh ride in the snow.
9:00 AM
Put on your skis
Put on your skis and enjoy the freshly groomed pistes in Reinswald.
Tip: The steepest piste, the “Jochpiste” black run, runs from Sattele at 2460 m, the highest point in the skiing region, to malga Pfnatsch: 400 m altitude differential over only 1,5 km distance! One section even has an incline of 58%. The longest piste, the “Pichlberg-Plankenhorn”, runs from Sattele to the lower cable car station (1570 m) and covers an altitude differential of almost 900m over 3,7 km.
