The South Tyrolean wine route runs from Nalles via Bolzano, Oltradige and Bassa Atesina to Salorno. Along the route are wine villages with a very special flair and their own building style, the Oltradige style. In the 16th and 17th century the wineries and country houses growing up in the South of Bolzano united elements of German Gothic and Italian Renaissance: oriels, loggias, double arch windows, outside stairs.

Discover the special architecture of the wine villages on excursions, walks and tours. A refreshment stop in one of the wineries or vineyards is highly recommended.
